FAQ’s

Q: How is  MFR + Thai Bodywork different from other therapeutic massage?

A: The Results! Surprisingly gentle, this method works on a very deep level and focuses on the structural imbalances to relieve the fascial restrictions, which provides long lasting results. This work REMODELS the connective tissues, rather than just temporarily stretching them out.

Q: How long does it take to get relief from pain?

A: With acute pain from a new injury, most clients experience pain relief within the first one to two sessions. Chronic, deep-seated pain patterns often require more sessions. The healing journey takes time for meaningful changes to take place. We will discuss your symptoms, medical history & evaluation to create a treatment plan.

Q:What is Fascia?

A: Fascia is a connective tissue that is essentially a “full body suit”. It encases everything beneath your skin including muscles, bones, nerves, and organs—head to toe, to the deepest layers of your body. It provides structural integrity and holds everything in place.
Healthy fascia is flexible, allowing for fluid movement and a sense of ease in the body. But when fascia is compromised (trauma, repetitive injuries, chronic dehydration, poor posture, etc.) it can become stiff, “stuck” and restricted— leading to pain, limited mobility and an energetic drain on the body is a whole. MFR targets the fascia with various hands on techniques for effective pain, relief, increased circulation, ROM, improved posture & enhanced overall well-being.
